Day Trip to Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle

At 9 am, our adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Rijeka, before we travel towards Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, situated in the picturesque landscapes of Slovenia.

As we drive beyond the border, our first destination is Postojna Cave. Get ready to encounter young dragons! We will delve into the most renowned karst cave in Europe, where extraordinary rock formations sculpted over millennia await us.

To enhance our experience, we'll board a tourist train that will whisk us through the cave, allowing us to visit enchanting sites like the ballroom and the illuminated glass lamps within Postojna, which are typically unreachable by foot.

Once we exit the cave, our journey continues to Predjama Castle, the only remaining cave fortress in Europe. Here, we will navigate through the castle's interior, exploring its various rooms while discovering the tales of Erasmus of Predjama, famously known as 'the Slovenian Robin Hood'.

Following our explorations of these remarkable attractions in Slovenia, we will head back to Croatia, arriving at your hotel in Rijeka by 4 pm.
