The streets of Rio de Janeiro hoard an abundance of art and culture, and you can discover it all with this guided walking tour. You'll also see the main monuments around the center of what is also known as Brazil’s Carioca city.

Rio Cultural City Tour

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in central Rio. The tour starts at the historic Maracana stadium, featuring the statue of Brazilian defender Hilderaldo Bellini, the first captain to lift the World Cup. Next, visit the Sambadrome, the venue for the Rio Carnival Parade, followed by the Metropolitan Cathedral, known for its pyramid shape and modern architecture. In the vicinity, explore the bohemian district of Lapa and the Selaron Steps, a notable photo spot.

The tour will take you to the Monastery of St. Benedict, a significant religious building. On the return journey, see iconic Rio sites including Flamengo Park, the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Dead of World War II, and the Church of Our Lady of the Glory of Outeiro. The tour also passes renowned beaches like Flamengo and Botafogo.

Concluding the tour, you'll be dropped off back at your hotel.
