The streets of Rio de Janeiro hold an abundance of art and culture, which you can explore on this guided walking tour. You will see the main monuments in the center of Brazil’s Carioca city.
Rio Cultural City Tour
At the scheduled time, hotel pickups will be conducted in central Rio. First, we will visit the historic Maracana stadium, known for its significance in Brazil’s football history. Here, you will see the statue of Hilderaldo Bellini, the first captain to lift the World Cup.
The next destination is the Sambadrome, famous for the Rio Carnival Parade. Afterward, we will go to the Metropolitan Cathedral, recognized for its pyramid shape and modern architecture. We will then explore the bohemian district of Lapa and the Selaron Steps, a popular photography spot in Rio de Janeiro.
Following this, we will visit the Monastery of St. Benedict, an important historical and architectural religious site. On the way back to hotels, we will pass by iconic locations such as Flamengo Park, the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Dead of World War II, and the Church of Our Lady of the Glory of Outeiro, along with notable beaches like Flamengo and Botafogo.
The tour will conclude with your drop-off back at your hotel.
