Exploring Christ the Redeemer

In the morning, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro and begin our journey towards Tijuca National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As we proceed, we will pass the famous shores of Copacabana and Ipanema. You'll also see notable landmarks, including the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian, the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí, and Leblon Beach. Additionally, we shall admire the legendary Maracanã Stadium from the outside.

Following this scenic drive, the journey to Corcovado will take approximately 20 minutes, navigating through the vibrant Tijuca Forest. Upon reaching the summit of this iconic mountain, we will revel in the incredible vistas from the Christ the Redeemer viewpoint. The monumental figure of Jesus Christ, with his arms wide open, towers at 710 meters above sea level and stands as one of Brazil’s most famous icons.

Here, we will take in the impressive statue and enjoy unrivaled views of Rio’s key landmarks: Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo beaches, the lagoon, the urban skyline, and Sugarloaf Mountain.

The panoramic terraces at the base of Christ the Redeemer also provide a prime viewing spot for Maracanã Stadium, which hosted the FIFA World Cups in 1950 and 2014. Additionally, from the summit of Corcovado Mountain, we can gaze upon the beautiful Guanabara Bay, where the sailing events of the 2016 Olympic Games took place.

After capturing countless photos, we will drive back to your hotel in Rio following approximately 6 hours of exploration.
