Following this, we will walk through the streets while learning about the history of the area, which is home to approximately 8,000 residents. The tour will highlight various educational projects in the community.
We will visit the Dona Marta arts center, the favela's sports center, and observe street art murals and traditional houses. A notable stop will be at Laje do Michael Jackson, a viewpoint featuring a statue of the singer, significant for being the location of his video 'They Don't Care About Us'.
