Dreamlike landscapes will surround us on this excursion to Morro Dois Irmãos, reached on foot from the Vidigal favela. The green forests of the Atlantic Forest await.

Tour Options

When reserving, you can choose between several tour options. Below is a brief description of each one:

Morro Dois Irmãos (4 hours)

At the designated time, we'll meet along Avenida Niemeyer and head to the Vidigal neighborhood. From there, we will reach Morro Dois Irmãos for exceptional landscapes.

The view from the top includes panoramas of southern Rio de Janeiro, Niteroi, the Serra da Carioca, and Cagarras islands. We'll also observe the impressive view from Rocinha, the largest favela in Latin America.

After time for photos, we will descend to the Vidigal favela and conclude the excursion with a return to the meeting point in Rio de Janeiro.

Morro Dois Irmãos + Favela de Vidigal (6 hours)

This route follows the same itinerary. After descending from Morro Dois Irmãos, we will explore the Vidigal favela on foot.

During this walk, we will discuss the daily life of this traditional Carioca neighborhood and observe its residents and unique architecture. After a 30-minute walk, we’ll reach a viewpoint with a view of Pedra da Gávea.

We’ll visit another viewpoint for a panorama of the Serra da Carioca, Corcovado, and Pedra Bonita.
