Paragliding in Rio de Janeiro

We will meet at a time of your choice on Avenida Mendes de Morais in the neighborhood of São Conrado. A minibus will take us to the starting point, where we will finalize the details of the paragliding flight over Rio de Janeiro. At the take-off area, we will review the basic safety measures and important aspects of paragliding.

Accompanied by an instructor, we will soar through the skies, admiring the nature of São Conrado and the Atlantic Ocean, with the city center's tall buildings in view. You will see the Tijuca National Park, Copacabana and Ipanema bays, Sugar Loaf, and Pedra da Gávea, which stands 2,762 feet (842 meters) above sea level. The flight will last 6-10 minutes, depending on wind conditions, and we will land at São Conrado beach.

Paragliding + Hiking activity

You can choose a final option that includes a paragliding flight, photos, and videos taken with a GoPro camera, along with a guided hike through the Pedra Bonita trail in the Tijuca National Park. The round-trip hike lasts an hour and a half and does not include transportation, starting from Mendes de Morais Avenue.
