Tour Details
We will meet at the Tourist Information Office at Praça Corumbá, then head to the railway station to reach the Santa Marta favela. There, you will witness stunning views of Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, and Morro Dois Irmãos, along with the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.
The tour includes an overview of celebrities who have visited the area, notably Michael Jackson, who filmed the video for They Don’t Care About Us here. You will meet locals who will share their life experiences, including one person with a collection of over 300 watches. The tour emphasizes sustainable development projects in the favela.
