Activity Details

We’ll meet at the Árabe Urca restaurant to begin a hiking and climbing adventure on Sugarloaf Mountain. The trek along the scenic Costão trail lasts 90 minutes.

The ascent includes a 15-meter rope climb up the rock wall, with views of Guanabara Bay and Niterói. We will pause at the Pedra Filosofal viewpoint to admire Rio’s southern region and potentially see the Christ the Redeemer statue.

The descent involves a cable car ride down to Morro da Urca, followed by a 30-minute walk along a forest trail back to the base. This tour lasts approximately 4 hours and concludes at our starting point.
