We will meet at Portugal Avenue in Rio de Janeiro at your chosen time. With an introduction to kayaking at Urca beach, we will provide tips on handling the kayaks. After 30 minutes of theory, we will launch into the water and paddle towards the Tamandaré da Laje Fort at the entrance of Guanabara Bay. This location offers views of the old prison and the renowned Sugarloaf Mountain.

You will learn about the fort's history as a prison for several significant Brazilian figures while enjoying the waters of Rio. We will continue paddling through Botafogo Bay and return to Urca beach to complete the kayak tour after two and a half hours of activity.
