Fancy exploring the nature of Rio de Janeiro? On this hiking tour of the most beautiful trails in the Tijuca National Park, see stunning waterfalls and amazing caves on this Cave Trail.
Activity Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro at the indicated time and drive to Tijuca National Park. Before arriving, we'll stop at the Vista Chinesa viewpoint for a view of the city.
Upon arrival at the park entrance, we will start the hiking route along the Cave Trail. The trail is of low difficulty and leads to the Tunay waterfall, our first stop.
After visiting the waterfall, we will proceed to the Tijuca National Park Visitor Centre to learn about the region's history and wildlife.
Next, we will walk for 20 minutes to the Almas waterfall, where swimming is allowed. Following this, we will return to the Cave Trail to visit four amazing caves, including the Bat Cave.
Our final stop will be the Baroness waterfall, where another swimming opportunity is available. After this, we will return to the minibus to be taken back to Rio de Janeiro. The tour lasts for 5 hours.
