Catamarca Tour

We'll pick you up at 6 am at your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo, departing south-west towards Catamarca.

First, we will pass through Villa Río Hondo and then enter Catamarca. Our first stop will be at the Cuesta del Portezuelo viewpoint for scenic views.

After this, we will descend to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, the provincial capital, where we will tour the historic centre, focusing on its monumental heritage.

We will begin by visiting the church and convent of San Francisco and continue to the cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Valle, including the renowned "camarín" (small chapel).

Following the cathedral visit, you will have one hour for lunch. Afterward, we will head to the outskirts to visit the grotto of the Virgin of the Valley of Catamarca.

Finally, we will stop at the El Jumeal dam for landscapes before returning to Termas de Río Hondo, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 7 pm.
