On this boat trip through the Aysén region, we will sail through the marble caves of Puerto Sánchez and the cathedral and marble chapel of Puerto Tranquilo.

Puerto Sanchez & Puerto Tranquilo Marble Caves Boat Trip

At a time of your choice, we will meet at the pier of Puerto Tranquilo to start a boat trip on Lake General Carrera.

We will first sail to the shores of the Panichini islet, where we will stop to admire the old ships stranded in the bay. Then we'll head to the marble caverns of Puerto Sánchez: lake caves known for their blue and greyish tones.

We will enter some of these calcium carbonate caves to observe their marble walls. In Puerto Sanchez, we will also see a large colony of Andean condors.

We will continue sailing to the coast of Puerto Tranquilo, where we will see its famous marble caves, part of a place declared a National Monument of Chile and Nature Sanctuary.

The crossing will continue through the marble tunnel. As a final touch, we will sail next to the islets of the cathedral and the marble chapel.

After a two-hour and 45-minute boat ride, we will conclude the trip by returning to Puerto Tranquilo.
