This boat trip will take us along the shore of Puerto Tranquilo by the marble caves, showcasing the unique greyish and bluish tones of these lake formations. The area is part of a protected zone designated as a National Monument of Chile in 1994 in the category of Nature Sanctuary.
We'll sail along 500 metres (1640 feet) of caves, entering to observe the marble ceilings before heading to the marble tunnel for another stop at this whitish calcium carbonate cavity.
Continuing on Lake General Carrera, we will visit the islets of the cathedral and the marble chapel of Puerto Tranquilo, which are significant natural monuments. Seeing them up close is unmatched by photographs.
