At the designated time, we will gather at the Las Coloradas Tourist Park to commence this panoramic exploration. Throughout our adventure, we will unveil the unique allure of this quaint fishing village nestled along the northern shore of the Yucatan Peninsula. Let’s set off!

Our adventure begins as we board our vehicle at Las Coloradas Natural Park. This area features a wetland teeming with diverse life. Are you aware that this region is a protected zone? It is classified as a Biosphere Reserve, highlighting its significance for ecological conservation.

As we navigate around these lagoons, we will learn about their distinctive features. The evaporation processes associated with salt production create an ideal environment for numerous aquatic birds, providing them with the necessary conditions to find shelter, hunt for food, reproduce, and nest. Have you ever spotted a Caribbean Pink Flamingo? We may get lucky and see one!

Next, we will embark on an unforgettable journey through the core of Mexico's largest salt plant. This part of the tour allows us to observe the sea salt production process through evaporation, how salt crystals are formed, and their storage in massive heaps, making the landscape resemble a lunar surface!

Before concluding our excursion, we will have an opportunity to capture breathtaking images of the striking pink waters of Las Coloradas. Ultimately, we will reconvene at the starting point after approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
