Mangroves Night Cruise

On this night cruise through the mangroves of Ria Lagartos, we will observe the nocturnal animals inhabiting the northern coast of Yucatan.

Description

We will meet at the designated time at the Rio Lagartos boardwalk to embark on our cruise through the mangroves in this northern Yucatan area.

Guided by the starry skies, we will navigate to the estuary of Ria Lagartos, a protected area designated as a Biosphere Reserve, home to numerous nocturnal animals that contribute to the region's biodiversity.

During the cruise, we may see crocodiles swimming in the mangroves, known to hunt during these hours.

Additionally, we will have the chance to stargaze, as this area of Yucatan has almost no light pollution, providing excellent views of the night sky.

After a total duration of 1.5 hours, we will conclude the night cruise at the pier from which we set out.
