On this night cruise through the mangroves of Ria Lagartos, we will observe nocturnal animals found on the northern coast of Yucatan.
Description
We will meet at the designated time at the Rio Lagartos boardwalk to begin our cruise through the mangroves in northern Yucatan.
Guided by the light of the stars, we will head to the estuary of Ria Lagartos, a protected area designated as a Biosphere Reserve rich in biodiversity, home to many nocturnal species.
During the cruise, we may see crocodiles swimming in the mangroves, as these reptiles are active at night.
We will also take time for stargazing, benefiting from minimal light pollution in the area, allowing for exceptional views of the night sky.
Our night cruise will last a total of 1.5 hours, concluding back at the pier from which we started.
