At 8:00 am, we’ll pick you up at your hotel in Riobamba and head towards the Chimborazo volcano.

On the way, we'll make several stops at points with views of the snow-capped mountain for photography. At around 11:30 am, we'll arrive at the first refuge of Chimborazo, located at 15748 feet (4800 meters) above sea level.

From this point, we'll start a 0.6-mile (1 kilometer) walk to the Cóndor Cocha lagoon, at 16732 feet (5100 meters) above sea level. We'll also pass the second refuge, Whymper, at 5000 meters. This hike will take approximately two and a half hours.

After the visit to Chimborazo, we'll go to the impressive cliff of La Chorrera, located at 13123 feet (4000 meters) above sea level. At 2:00 pm, we'll head to the area of San Juan for a traditional lunch, which includes chicken fillet with rice and salad, barley rice soup or quinoa, and seasonal fruit juice.

Finally, after lunch, we'll return to your hotel in Riobamba, arriving at 4:00 pm.
