Description

We'll meet at Sucre Park at the designated time for a guided walking tour of Riobamba. The tour will highlight notable landmarks and share stories about the city's history.

The first stop will be the León Theater, one of Ecuador's exquisite theaters. Inside, we'll tour and appreciate its architecture.

Next, we'll visit the Ecuadorian Post Office building, an Italian-inspired structure by architects Natale and Luca Tormen. We will discuss the importance of postal communication in Ecuador from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Before concluding the tour, we'll explore the Casa Museo of Riobamba and stroll to Maldonado Park. We’ll learn about Pedro Vicente Maldonado Palomino y Flores, a prominent scientist from Riobamba.

The tour will conclude with a visit to a traditional ice cream shop, where guests will enjoy a complimentary ice cream. The entire experience will last 4 hours.
