Day 1: Riohacha - Manaure - Cabo de la Vela

At the indicated time you'll drive from Riohacha to Manaure, known as the "white bride of Colombia," and head to the Manaure salt flats, notable throughout Colombia. Photo opportunity!

Next, visit the salt factory complex to learn about salt production and see a large part of the 4200 hectares used for its production.

Then, visit the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, a biodiversity hotspot. After this visit, you'll have lunch featuring typical Colombian dishes, predominantly fish.

The adventure continues towards Cabo de la Vela, passing through Uribia, the indigenous capital of Colombia. Spend time enjoying the combination of desert and sea before being dropped off at your accommodation in Cabo de la Vela for the night.

Day 2: Cabo de la Vela - Riohacha

In the morning, breakfast is provided at the hotel in Cabo de la Vela before visiting the Pilón de Azúcar beaches, a sacred site for the indigenous Wayuu.

After a morning at the beach, lunch will be at a traditional inn. Finally, around 2 pm, you'll return to Riohacha.

Accommodation and meals

The tour includes two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner, and one night of accommodation at Restaurante y Hospedaje Glamar de Cabo de la Vela. You can choose between two types of accommodation:
