Roatán ATV Tour
- 5 Stunden
Description
At 9 am, we will pick you up at your accommodation or the cruise terminal in Roatan for an ATV tour around the island. The tour includes a visit to the wreck of Dixon Cove, linked to the Nicaraguan Sandinista Revolution. We will also stop at Arch's Iguana & Marine Park for a half-hour experience where you can interact with and feed iguanas.
Next, we will continue exploring the eastern part of Roatan until we arrive at the Garifuna Cultural Center. This site will provide insights into the history and culture of the Garifuna people, whose ancestry includes African, Kalinago, and Arawak aborigines. The visit will last an hour.
We will then travel to Oakridge, referred to as the "Venice of Roatan", where we will take a 20-minute boat ride through the mangrove canals, exploring the area’s scenic houses and vegetation. The tour concludes with an opportunity to swim at one of Oakridge's beaches.
We will return to the cruise terminal in Roatan, concluding the tour by 2 pm.
