Tour Overview

Our day begins at 9 am with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or the cruise terminal in Roatán as we set off on our thrilling quad tour of the island. Are you prepared for this unique experience?

Once we mount our ATVs, we will make our way to the coastline, where the remarkable Dixon Cove wreck awaits. Here, we will explore the intriguing narratives linked to this ship, which is notably tied to the Nicaraguan Sandinista Revolution. Our adventure continues as we head to Arch's Iguana & Marine Park, where you'll enjoy an engaging half-hour filled with opportunities to feed and interact with the resident iguanas.

After this delightful encounter, we will climb back onto our ATVs and navigate through the eastern sections of Roatán, leading us to the Garifuna Cultural Center. This center offers a deep dive into the rich history and traditions of the Garifuna people, who have ancestral ties to African, Kalinago, and Arawak roots. Are you aware of their captivating cultural legacy?

Following an insightful hour at the center, we will set our sights on Oakridge, affectionately referred to as the "Venice of Roatán." Have you ever wondered about the meaning behind that name? To uncover the answer, we will transition from ATVs to a boat for a 20-minute journey through the stunning mangrove canals, while taking in the charming homes surrounded by lush greenery. We will wrap up our adventure with a refreshing swim at one of Oakridge's beautiful beaches.

As our exciting day comes to a close, we will make our way back to the cruise terminal in Roatán, returning the ATVs and concluding our journey by 2 pm at the starting point.
