We will convene at the scheduled hour at the Ecoturismo Laguna Garzón offices, located alongside this remarkable lake designated as a protected area.

Once we gather, we will embark on a hiking trail that offers the opportunity to delve into this extraordinary ecosystem found in Uruguay. What makes it exceptional? The Garzón Lagoon boasts the most significant area of psamophilous scrubland in the nation. You need not worry if this term is new to you; you will gain expertise during the tour!

As we traverse the lagoon, we will take in the breathtaking scenery while being mindful of the surrounding natural environment. Moreover, during our journey along the 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) path, we'll make various stops to observe the diverse bird species that call the Garzón Lagoon their home.

After a fulfilling 3 hours of hiking, we will return to our starting point, thus concluding our hiking experience.
