Writers, artists and intellectuals from across the ages have fallen in love with the history, nature, hospitality and culture of Capri. Now it's your turn to discover the myths and legends surrounding the island and its Blue Grotto, an incomparable experience.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at viale Giorgio Washington or we'll pick you up at your hotel in Rome. We'll then head south via the 'Sun Motorway', driving through the Italian countryside and past the Castelli Romani area.

Upon arrival in Naples, you'll board a ferry for the 45-minute journey to Marina Grande, Capri's famous port. Here, we'll enjoy a guided tour and explore the most important town on the island, including a stroll through its center and a visit to the Piazatta.

Your visit will include the Blue Grotto, a natural cave noted for its enchanting blue illumination created by sunlight filtering through the water.

Returning to Naples, you'll see notable sights like the Maschio Angioino fortress, the Certosa di San Martino, and the Royal Palace. The tour concludes back in central Rome after 14 hours.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you can select from a tour without pickup, with pickup, or a self-guided tour:

Tour without Pickup

Meeting at 6:45 am in front of viale Giorgio Washington at the entrance to metro line A of Villa Borghese park.

Tour with Pickup

The tour with pickup will collect you from your hotel in Rome with 24-hour reception. If staying in apartments or bed and breakfasts, you must choose the tour without pickup and meet at 6:45 am.

Self-Guided Tour

The self-guided tour includes an English-speaking tour assistant who will issue roundtrip ferry tickets, allowing you to explore Capri independently. You should also meet at viale Giorgio Washington.

Partial Changes

If weather conditions prevent a visit to the Blue Grotto, the tour will instead visit the Faraglioni rocks. If the boat trip is not possible, a land tour of the island will be conducted.
