Capri Day Trip

Writers, artists and intellectuals from across the ages have fallen in love with the history, nature, hospitality and culture of Capri. Now it's your turn to discover the myths and legends surrounding the island and its Blue Grotto, an incomparable experience.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at viale Giorgio Washington or pick you up at your hotel in Rome. We'll then head south via the 'Sun Motorway', driving through the Italian countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani.

Upon arrival in Naples, you'll board a ferry for the 45-minute journey to Marina Grande, Capri's famous port. We'll enjoy a guided tour of the island's main town, strolling through its center and visiting the Piazatta with views from a lookout point.

Next, we will proceed to the Blue Grotto, known for its enchanting blue waters resulting from light entering the cave. After visiting, you can admire the Maschio Angioino fortress, the former monastery complex of Certosa di San Martino, and the Royal Palace in Naples.

The tour will conclude back in central Rome, after a duration of 14 hours.

Tour Options

During booking, you can choose from a tour without pickup, with pickup, or a self-guided tour:

Tour without Pickup

Meet at 6:45 am in front of viale Giorgio Washington, at the entrance to metro line A of Villa Borghese park.

Tour with Pickup

With the tour including pickup, we will collect you at the indicated time from your hotel in Rome with 24-hour reception. For those in apartments or B&Bs, you must opt for the tour without pickup and arrive at 6:45 am to the meeting point.

Self-Guided Tour

The self-guided tour includes an English-speaking tour assistant who will provide roundtrip ferry tickets, allowing you to explore Capri independently. You should meet the assistant at viale Giorgio Washington.

Partial Changes

If weather conditions prevent visiting the Blue Grotto, we will instead visit the Faraglioni rocks. If a boat trip is not possible, a land tour of the island will be arranged.
