Florence & Pisa Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet outside the exit of the Tiburtina station, where we'll hop on a bus to make our way to the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany.

After approximately a 4-hour journey, we'll reach our first stop, Pisa. You'll have free time to visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, a World Heritage Site, and the location of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This iconic construction is significant in Tuscan Romanesque architecture. You'll learn about its history and the stabilization work carried out until 1990. After taking the obligatory photo holding up the tower, you'll have time to explore the square and view the Baptistery of St. John and the Fallen Angel by Igor Mitoraj.

Next, we'll head to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. You can explore its main monuments, including the Florence Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Repubblica, and Palazzo Strozzi. Don't forget to cross the Ponte Vecchio and enjoy views of the Arno River. There will be free time for lunch; we recommend trying a panino with lampredotto.

After an incredible day, we'll return to the capital, dropping you off at the meeting point after 14 hours.
