Description

At the indicated time we'll meet at the Anagnina metro stop in Rome to begin an excursion to Castel Gandolfo, where we'll do a kayak tour of Lake Albano. After a road trip of about 20 kilometers (12 miles), we'll reach the nearby Albano Lake. After a quick paddling lesson, we'll get into the kayaks to start the tour.

We'll follow the guide and make several stops along the lake, passing the Roman port of Domitian's Villa, the Pope's trampoline, and a beautiful beach accessible only by kayak. During the tour, we'll also see the famous Summer residence of the Pope, atop the mountain of Castel Gandolfo. Numerous anecdotes and stories related to Lake Albano will be shared. At the end of the kayak tour, you'll have time to shower and change before returning to the capital.

After 2.5 hours in this beautiful location, we'll drop you back at the meeting point in Rome. See you soon!
