Description

At the indicated time we'll meet at the Anagnina metro stop in Rome to begin an excursion to Castel Gandolfo, where we'll do a kayak tour of Lake Albano. After a road trip of about 20 kilometres (12 miles), we'll reach Albano Lake. After a quick paddling lesson, we'll get into the kayaks to start the tour.

We'll follow the guide and make several stops along the lake, passing the Roman port of Domitian's Villa, the Pope's trampoline, and a beach accessible only by kayak. During the tour we'll see the famous Summer residence of the Pope, situated on the mountain of Castel Gandolfo, and we'll share numerous anecdotes and stories related to Lake Albano. At the end of the kayak tour, before returning to the capital, you'll have time to shower and change.

After 2.5 hours in this location, we'll drop you back at the meeting point in Rome.
