Ponza Island Day Trip

Enjoy a day trip from Rome to Ponza Island. Cruise along the waters and cool off with a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea!

Description

We'll meet in the Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome at 6:45 am, and from there, we'll board a minibus to take us to the port of Anzio. After paying for the boat tickets, we'll take the ferry to Ponza Island.

After an hour and a half sailing, we'll reach the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately an hour and a half for breakfast before enjoying our boat ride.

After breakfast, we'll meet the other participants on the tour from various locations, and then we'll board our boat, ready to spend 5 hours cruising along the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The captain will sail to the best spots on the island, passing old ruins and caves, and we'll anchor down up to five times to allow swimming and exploration. This is a great opportunity for snorkelling, as there is much marine fauna to discover.

The captain will prepare pasta for a simple lunch onboard. You'll need it after swimming!

Afterwards, we'll return to the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately 1 hour of free time to wander its streets. At 5:30 pm, we'll take the ferry back to Anzio and start our journey back to Rome, arriving between 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm at the initial meeting point.
