Tabernas Desert & Fort Bravo Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time on Calle Chillida to set off on a 40-minute bus journey to the town of Tabernas.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the Terrera Ventura interpretation centre to learn about the ancient civilization that lived in the desert 3,000 years ago. Following this, we will go to the castle of Tabernas, an 11th-century Arab fortress, which provides panoramic views of the Sierra de Los Filabres and the Tabernas Desert.

We will explore the desert landscape and discover the region's origins and its fame as a filming location for many iconic old western movies since the 1960s.

Next, a walking tour of the historic center of Tabernas will take place, highlighting homes and significant buildings like the Church of San Sebastián and the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation.

We will then proceed to Fort Bravo, a western-themed park, also known as Texas Hollywood, where we will have 4 hours for exploration, including shows with cowboys, duels, and cancan dancers. There will also be a horse cart option to tour the Mexican village, the Native American camp, or the American fort, as well as time to eat at themed restaurants.

To conclude the excursion, we will return to the bus and head back to the starting point, completing a total of 6 hours.
