Entrance to Hell's Gate

When purchasing your entrance ticket to Hell's Gate, you can choose between the following options:

Entrance Only

This ticket allows you to discover the healing powers of Rotorua's most active geothermal reservoir. You can relax in naturally heated pools while admiring the native flora. This option includes access to the sulfur spas and the cold water pool, lasting an hour and a half.

Entrance + Guided Tour + Mud Bath

This option provides the most comprehensive experience at Hell's Gate. With this combo ticket, you'll access all pools of the geothermal complex, enjoy a guided tour of Hell's Gate, and take a healing mud bath. The duration is 3 hours, and it is advised not to exceed 20 minutes in the mud bath.

Note that Hell's Gate offers two guided tours per day: at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. If you cannot attend at these times, you will need to explore the area on your own.
