Entrance to Hell's Gate
When purchasing your entrance ticket to Hell's Gate, you can choose between the following options:
Entrance Only
With this ticket, you'll discover the healing powers of Rotorua's most active geothermal reservoir. You will have access to the sulfur spas and the cold water pool. The experience lasts an hour and a half.
Entrance + Guided Tour + Mud Bath
This option provides access to all the pools of the geothermal complex, a guided tour of Hell's Gate, and a healing mud bath. This experience lasts 3 hours. It is not recommended to spend more than 20 minutes in the mud bath.
Hell's Gate offers two guided tours per day: at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. If you cannot attend at these times, you will need to explore on your own.
