At the scheduled time, we will meet at the entrance of Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve and begin a guided tour of Rotorua's important geothermal park. We will share facts about this geothermal area while exploring the geysers and thermal pools. The tour features waterfalls, flora, and tropical birds found within Hell's Gate.

Hell's Gate is home to the largest active mud volcano in New Zealand and the largest hot waterfall in the southern hemisphere, showcasing the unique nature of the reserve. After one hour of touring, we will return to the starting point.

Hours

Hell's Gate offers two guided tours per day at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Tours outside these times require self-guided options.
