Hell's Gate Guided Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve and begin a guided tour of Rotorua's most important and active geothermal park. We'll provide information about this geothermal area while we explore the powerful geysers and thermal pools. Waterfalls, flora, and tropical birds are present at Hell's Gate. The reserve features the largest active mud volcano in New Zealand and the largest hot waterfall in the southern hemisphere, showcasing its unique nature. After an hour of touring Hell's Gate, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the starting point.

Hours

Hell's Gate offers two guided tours per day: at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. If you cannot join these times, you will need to take the tour independently.
