On the day of the excursion, we will collect you from your selected pickup location in Rotorua at the agreed time to embark on an extraordinary adventure through the realms of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Are you ready to explore the sites of cinematic greatness?



The journey will commence with a picturesque drive to Matamata, during which you will gain insights into the local area and its cultural background through engaging anecdotes and compelling information.



Upon arriving at the Hobbiton Movie Set, you will partake in an exhilarating guided tour discovering how this beautiful farmland was meticulously crafted into a real-life setting of Middle-Earth.



Throughout the guided experience, you will have the chance to observe Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, the famed Party Tree, the Mill, and numerous other iconic elements from the films. It will feel as though you have entered the world of the movies!



After the tour, we will proceed to the Party Marquee to indulge in a sumptuous banquet reminiscent of a Hobbit's feast!
