Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Centraal Station in Rotterdam, in the heart of the city. From this landmark, we start our guided tour of the main monuments of this important port city.

Our first stop will be the commercial area of Lijnbaan, the modern shopping area of the city. Nearby, we will encounter the ‘pixillated’ Timmerhuise, which appears to sway in the wind, and the ‘Markthal’ indoor market, which resembles a spaceship.

During the tour, you will learn about each of the innovative buildings that we visit. We'll take a journey back in time from the reconstruction in the 50s and the traces that remain.

We will walk along the banks of the Maas river and finish at Rotterdam’s most symbolic monument: the famous Erasmus Bridge. The views from here are remarkable.

After 2 hours together, we'll bring this tour to an end.
