Description

Meet us at Rotterdam Central Station as we set off on a walking tour through the urban center of Rotterdam. Our first stop will be Lijnbaan, Rotterdam's main city street. Then we'll continue on to Timmerhuis: a modern complex of buildings designed by the OMA architecture firm.

As we continue walking through the city, we'll pass by the San Lorenzo Church, on our way to the Markthal: a modern architectural structure and covered market. Inside, we can see the roof with a vibrant artwork called the "Horn of Plenty."

Next to the Markthal, we will find the renowned Rotterdam Cube Houses (Kubuswoning). After exploring these homes, we will head to a nearby pier to catch a fast water taxi, crossing the Meuse River in just two minutes.

During this quick river crossing, you'll pass under the Erasmusbrug Bridge and enjoy views of notable landmarks such as the De Rotterdam building, the New York Hotel, and the Fenix Food Factory headquarters. The tour will end at this point at about 1 pm.
