Ice Fishing in Rovaniemi

At the selected time, we will pick you up in Rovaniemi and head to one of the prettiest areas in the Arctic Circle. The journey lasts approximately half an hour, allowing you to enjoy the snowy scenery and fir tree forests of northern Rovaniemi.

Upon reaching the lake, we will dig a hole in the ice and wait for a fish to take the bait. During winter, the ice can reach depths of up to one meter. Our guide will provide information on the techniques and tricks for ice fishing. You only need to focus on being patient and enjoying the surroundings.

The guide will then look for wood to prepare a lakeside bonfire. Once the fire is lit, we will roast sausages and enjoy the warmth. Throughout the tour, we will appreciate the unique landscapes and capture incredible photos of ice fishing in Lapland, gaining cultural insight into local life. After this experience, we will return to Rovaniemi.
