Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

The ice falls of Korouoma National Park present a unique sight where water appears frozen in time. This day trip from Rovaniemi allows you to admire ice cliffs and enjoy a campfire meal.

Day Trip Details

You will be picked up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and head southeast to the Posio region. After a journey of approximately one and a half hours, you will arrive at Korouoma National Park, a canyon formed by the Korojoki River, spanning twenty miles (30 km) through the Finnish countryside. You will hike on foot through the snow-covered forests.

During the hike, you will encounter the frozen waterfalls of Korouoma, a remarkable sight. Following the adventure, gather around a campfire for a barbecue featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows.

At the conclusion of the excursion, transportation back to your hotel in Rovaniemi will be provided.
