Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

The ice falls of Korouoma National Park offer a stunning experience where water appears frozen. This trip from Rovaniemi allows you to enjoy the ice cliffs and a campfire meal.

Day Trip Details

Participants will be picked up from their hotel in Rovaniemi and travel southeast to the Posio region. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach Korouoma National Park, a canyon shaped by the Korojoki River, spanning twenty miles (30 km). The excursion includes hiking through snow-covered forests.

During the hike, you will see the impressive frozen waterfalls of Korouoma. Afterward, you will gather around a campfire to enjoy a barbecue featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows.

At the conclusion of the activity, transportation back to your hotel in Rovaniemi will be provided.

Hotel Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for guests within a 9-mile (15-kilometer) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. If your hotel is outside this area, the meeting point will be Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi. Pickup times may change seasonally, and confirmation will be provided after booking.

A minimum of 2 people is required for this activity. On Sundays and public holidays in Spain, the minimum group size increases to 4 people.
