Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls Day Trip

The ice falls of Korouoma National Park offer a unique natural experience with frozen waterfalls. This day trip from Rovaniemi includes a hike through the park's snow-capped forests and a campfire meal.

Day Trip Details

Participants will be picked up from their hotel in Rovaniemi and travel southeast for about an hour and a half to the Korouoma National Park, a canyon created by the Korojoki River, which extends 30 km through the Finnish landscape. The excursion involves hiking in the forests and viewing the frozen waterfalls of Korouoma.

A campfire barbecue will be provided after the hike, featuring reindeer sandwiches, mushroom soup, Lappish hard bread, and hot blueberry juice with marshmallows. At the conclusion, participants will be returned to their hotel in Rovaniemi.

Tour Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for those staying within a 15-kilometre radius of Rovaniemi city center. If the accommodation is outside this area, the meeting point will be Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi. The specific pickup time may vary by season and availability; participants will be contacted post-booking to confirm.
