Following a pick-up from your hotel in Rovaniemi, the paddle surfing activity under the midnight sun will begin. At the lakeside destination, an expert SUP instructor will provide a lesson on basic techniques for maintaining balance while paddle surfing. Afterward, you will paddle on the lake and experience the midnight sun, a unique spectacle resembling an eternal sunset during the summer months. A walk to the peak of a nearby hill will offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the golden horizon.

After the activity, you will be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon occurring within the Arctic Circle during summer. In Rovaniemi, it is visible from early June to early September, with the White Nights occurring in late June during the summer solstice.

Pickup

Pick-up is included from hotels within a 9-mile (15-kilometre) radius of Rovaniemi city centre. After booking, we will confirm your exact pick-up time. If your accommodation is in central Rovaniemi, you must go to the office at Maakuntakatu 29.
