Can you imagine floating on ice? Enjoy the unique experience of lying on a frozen lake while you gaze up at the magical Northern Lights and twinkling stars in the night sky above Rovaniemi.

Northern Lights Ice Floating Experience

We will pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and take you into the winter scenery of Lapland. After a 10 mile (15 km) journey, you'll reach an area with many frozen lakes and snow-capped forests.

The activity will take place on one of these icy lakes. You will wear a special insulated suit to protect you from the cold while you relax in the water and enjoy views of this winter paradise.

As you float in Arctic waters, experience the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, illuminating the night sky with various colors. Enjoy the spectacular view and its reflection on the lake.

During the activity, warm blueberry juice and gingerbread will be provided.

At the end of the excursion, you'll be returned to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

The activity includes pickup from hotels within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from Rovaniemi. If your hotel is in the center, we will meet you at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.
