Private Finnish Sauna Experience

After being picked up from your hotel, you'll travel from Rovaniemi to a relaxing location. Upon arriving at the authentic Lappish setting, take in the view of the icy lake and forest surroundings. Before dipping into the cold water, enjoy a traditional private sauna. This sauna is a wooden cabin heated by a wood-burning stove, reaching temperatures of 176–230 °F (80–110 °C). The sauna is vital for physical and mental health in Finland. Complete the ritual by experiencing the heat, followed by plunging into the icy lake or rolling in the snow. Conclude with a delicious blueberry tea before returning to your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Important information

From September to May, there may be a chance to see the Aurora Borealis while bathing in the frozen lake. In summer (May to October), you can view the midnight sun.

This activity includes pickup from hotels within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from the center of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is in the center, the meeting point is Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.
