Rovaniemi Forests Hike

We'll come and pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and head toward Riisitunturi National Park. White paths, frozen trees, frost, and paw prints in the snow are just some of the surprises waiting for us in Finnish Lapland.

After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at our destination, where the trees are covered in snow and the landscape is pure white. From here, we'll begin our hiking route through the park grounds.

Along the route, you'll be captivated by the park's complete silence. The only noise we'll hear is the crunch of snow beneath our boots as we trek down the path. We'll eventually reach the summit of our hiking route, where we'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Arctic nature at its finest!

Then, 6 hours later, we'll return to the starting point, bringing the activity to an end.

This tour includes pickup at hotels in Rovaniemi. Please note that if your hotel is within a 0.6 mi (1 km) radius of the city center, you must head to the meeting point, located on Rovakatu 19b.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During this hiking tour, you will embark on an immersive journey through the serene landscapes of Riisitunturi National Park. The adventure begins with hotel pickup in Rovaniemi, leading you on a scenic drive to the park.

Once we arrive, we will set off on a well-marked hiking route. The experience lasts approximately 6 hours, allowing plenty of time to soak in the stunning Arctic surroundings. The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
