Rovaniemi Icebreaker Cruise

Cross the Finnish border to Sweden for an icebreaker experience. You will sail the Bothnian Sea on an ice-breaker ship and have the opportunity to float in the icy waters.

Icebreaker Cruise

At the scheduled time, meet at the Rovaniemi Tourist Information Point. From there, we will travel by bus to the Swedish town of Båtskärsnäs, where the icebreaker will be waiting.

Onboard, you will listen to an English audio guide while exploring different rooms including the engine room and captain's bridge. A short informative video about icebreakers worldwide will also be shown.

As we sail, enjoy the views of the Bothnian Sea and watch the ship navigate through the ice. You can experience this from the deck or inside.

After a 2-course lunch on board, you will participate in a unique activity: a dip in the icy water wearing a special flotation suit.

The tour concludes after three hours of sailing as we return to the departure dock.
