Cross the Finnish border and travel to Sweden for an unforgettable experience. You'll sail the Bothnian Sea on an ice-breaker ship and even get to float in the icy waters!

Icebreaker Cruise

At the appointed time we will meet at the Rovaniemi Tourist Information Point. After gathering, we will depart Rovaniemi on a bus to the Swedish town of Båtskärsnäs, where the icebreaker ship awaits.

Upon boarding, an English audio guide will lead us as we explore various areas including the engine room and the captain's bridge. A short informative video on icebreakers worldwide will also be shown.

While sailing, enjoy views of the Bothnian Sea and watch the ship break through icy layers. You can experience this from the deck or indoors.

After a 2-course lunch on board, we will participate in a unique activity by taking a dip in the icy water while wearing a special flotation suit.

Finally, we will return to the departure dock, concluding the tour after three hours of sailing.
