Cross the Finnish border and travel to Sweden for an unforgettable experience. You'll sail the Bothnian Sea on an ice-breaker ship and get to float in the icy waters!

Icebreaker Cruise

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Rovaniemi Tourist Information Point. Once gathered, we will depart from Rovaniemi by bus to the Swedish town of Båtskärsnäs, where the icebreaker ship awaits.

Onboard, we will use an English audio guide to explore areas like the engine room and the captain's bridge. A short informative video about icebreakers around the world will also be shown.

During our sailing, you'll take in views of the Bothnian Sea as the ship breaks through the icy layers. You can enjoy these views from the deck or inside the ship.

Following a 2-course lunch on board, we will participate in a unique activity: taking a dip in the icy water while wearing a special flotation suit.

We will then return to the boat and head back to the departure dock, concluding the tour after three hours of sailing.
