Snowshoe Trek

Snowshoes have been used by the Lappish population for centuries. This mode of snow transport has become a popular activity in Rovaniemi. Participants will be picked up from their hotel at the selected time for a 20-minute drive to the snow trekking site. After gearing up, the trek will begin, allowing participants to walk among pine and fir trees while enjoying the tranquility of the snowy environment and the fresh air. A stop will be made to start a bonfire for warmth, accompanied by a hot drink, sausages, and biscuits. The adventure concludes three hours later with a return to the hotel in Rovaniemi.

This activity includes pickup from hotels located within a 5 miles (8 km) radius of downtown Rovaniemi. For hotels further away, alternative meeting points will be arranged.
