Snowshoeing & Ice Fishing

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the selected time and head to the forests of Lapland.

Once we arrive, we'll set off on a snowshoe hike through snowy pines and firs to explore scenic landscapes.

The trail leads us to a frozen lake for a short lesson on essential ice fishing techniques. We will learn to drill a hole in the ice and cast the rod, then wait for a bite.

During fishing, the guide will light a fire for a barbecue snack of salmon and hot drinks.

Afterward, we will return to Rovaniemi and drop you off at your hotel approximately 4 hours after pickup.

Hotel Pickup

This activity includes pickup from hotels within a radius of 15 km (9.3 miles) from the centre of Rovaniemi. If your hotel is in the centre, we'll meet you at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi 96200.
