Madidi Park and Yacuma Pampas 5 Day Trip

Day 1

We begin with a pickup at the agreed meeting point and head to the dock to board a boat with an open-top panoramic deck. We sail to the Mashaquipe Ecolodge, drifting along the Beni and Tuichi rivers, enjoying views of Bala Canyon, and observing flora and fauna. Upon arrival at the lodge, we will have a meal before heading into Madidi Park to see wildlife including spider monkeys and wild boars. At night, we return to our cabins for dinner and rest.

Day 2

After a Bolivian breakfast, we start a four-hour trek through the Amazon jungle to reach the Arenalito refuge for a meal. We then climb a mountain to see exotic birds and enjoy a sunset view. At night, we explore jungle paths for nocturnal animals and camp in the rainforest.

Day 3

We rise before dawn for a short hike and witness the sunrise over the Amazon. After breakfast, we trek to the Tuichi River where we’ll build a traditional raft. In the afternoon, free time allows you to explore the Bolivian jungle.

Day 4

We have an early breakfast before traveling by 4x4 to Santa Rosa del Yacuma, admiring local flora and fauna en route. We board a boat to Las Tortugas Ecolodge for a meal. In the afternoon, we sail down the Yacuma River to see wildlife including lizards, caimans, and pink dolphins. We return to the ecolodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5

We wake early to enjoy the jungle's tranquility and a sunrise. After breakfast, we take a jungle trek to learn about the region's wildlife, including anacondas. After a farewell meal, we return to Rurrenabaque, concluding the adventure.
