Madidi Park and Yacuma Pampas 5 Day Trip

Day 1

The tour begins with a pickup and a boat ride to the Mashaquipe Ecolodge. Pass through the Beni and Tuichi rivers, enjoying views of Bala Canyon while observing local flora and fauna. After reaching the lodge, participants will have a meal and continue into Madidi Park to see wild animals. The day concludes with dinner and overnight stay at the cabins.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a four-hour trek to the Arenalito refuge for rest and a meal. Climb a mountain for views of exotic birds and a sunset panorama. Explore jungle paths at night for nocturnal wildlife and camp in the Amazon rainforest.

Day 3

Wake up early for a hike to witness the sunrise. After breakfast, trek to the Tuichi River to construct a traditional raft for the return to the Mashaquipe Ecolodge. The afternoon is free for personal exploration of the Bolivian jungle.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, travel by 4x4 to Santa Rosa del Yacuma. Board a boat to Las Tortugas Ecolodge, where lunch is provided. In the afternoon, sail the Yacuma River to see local wildlife, including lizards, caimans, and possibly swim with pink dolphins. Return to the ecolodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5

Awake to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy an Amazon sunrise. After breakfast, take a jungle trek to observe local anacondas and other exotic wildlife. The adventure concludes in the afternoon after a farewell meal before returning to Rurrenabaque.
