Yacuma Pampas 3 Day Trip

Description

Day 1

In the morning, participants will gather in Rurrenabaque before departing for the scenic town of Santa Rosa de Yacuma. The journey, conducted in a 4x4 vehicle, will provide opportunities to observe local wildlife, including anteaters, sloths, and vibrant toucans.

At noon, the group will board a boat to cross the Yacuma River to reach the lodge, where guests will be welcomed with traditional Bolivian gastronomy.

In the afternoon, there will be a chance to explore the surroundings and encounter local fauna, such as capuchin monkeys. The day will conclude with a visit to a panoramic viewpoint for an unforgettable sunset over the Pampas del Yacuma.

After dinner, a night boat ride on the Yacuma will offer the opportunity to watch nocturnal wildlife, including alligators.

Day 2

The day begins early with breakfast, followed by a boat expedition on the Yacuma River. During the excursion, guests can expect to see a variety of wildlife including capybaras, alligators, lizards, turtles, monkeys, exotic birds, and even river dolphins.

Following this, the group will return to the eco-lodge for lunch and a short rest. Weather permitting, another trip to the Yacuma River will be organized, this time to swim with dolphins and observe them directly.

The evening will consist of a quiet dinner at the lodge, where guests will spend the night.

Day 3

On the final day, the group will rise before dawn to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Pampas del Yacuma, a sight that is truly unforgettable.

Following breakfast, participants will explore the area, enjoying the sounds of the awakening jungle and the chance to see anacondas in their natural habitat.

After the hike, the group will return to the eco-lodge for lunch and pack their bags before heading back to Rurrenabaque, with an expected arrival in mid-afternoon.
