2.5-hour Tour
Meet at the Altos de Caño Hondo hotel at your chosen time, board a boat at the marina, and head to Los Haitises National Park.
Sail along the Caño Hondo River through red mangroves to San Lorenzo Bay. Look for rocky mogotes, pelicans, and kingbirds in the area with 700 different plant species.
Explore Arena and Linea Cave with petroglyphs and paintings from indigenous populations 750 years ago. See depictions of animals, deities, and humans in black and grey shades.
Continue exploring for manatees, dolphins, and other marine mammals before returning to the starting point after 2.5 hours.
3 to 3.5-hour Tour
This option follows the same itinerary as above, including the mangroves, San Lorenzo Bay, and Arena and La Linea caves.
Additionally, venture into the Owl Cave, known for owl nests. Observe the local flora and fauna, including various bird species.
