Los Haitises National Park Kayak Tour

At your preferred time, we'll meet at Puerto Caño Hondo in Los Haitises National Park. Once all are assembled, we'll get into our kayaks and explore the scenery as we row through the Caño Hondo River.

We'll navigate through areas with red and white mangroves and observe the tall ceiba, mahogany, and grandleaf seagrape trees along the banks. If you listen closely, you may hear the birdsong of pelicans, owls, and kingbirds, among other local species.

Next, we'll proceed to San Lorenzo Bay, where there is a chance to see dolphins and manatees. Be alert for mogotes with unique flora. We will also visit both Arena and Linea Cave to view petroglyphs left by the Taino people.

After 4 hours of activity, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.

6-hour Tour

Enhance your experience by upgrading to a 6-hour tour. This includes the same kayak tour and adds approximately 2 hours for a hike.

During the hike, we will traverse the tropical rainforest of Los Haitises National Park, discovering local flora and fauna and learning about the ecosystem's significance, while enjoying the park's natural tranquility.

After 6 hours, we will return to the meeting point.
