Los Haitises National Park Kayak Tour

At your chosen time, we will meet at Puerto Caño Hondo. After all arrive, we will board the kayaks and begin exploring the Caño Hondo River.

We will paddle through areas with red and white mangroves and see ceiba, mahogany, and grandleaf seagrape trees along the banks. Listen for the calls of pelicans, owls, kingbirds, and other endemic species.

Next, we will proceed to San Lorenzo Bay, where we may encounter dolphins and manatees. Keep an eye out for the mogotes that are rich in unique flora. We will also visit Arena and Linea Cave to view petroglyphs from the indigenous Taino people.

After 4 hours of exploration, we will return to the starting point to conclude the tour.

Enhance your experience with a 6-hour tour. This includes the kayak tour mentioned above, followed by a 2-hour hike.

During the hike, we will traverse the lush rainforest of Los Haitises National Park. We will discover local flora and fauna, learn about this ecosystem's significance, and appreciate the park's natural tranquility.

After completing the 6-hour journey, we will return to the meeting point.
