Quinta da Avessada Winery Experience

We will collect you from your accommodation at a time that suits you, before heading north towards the Quinta da Avessada winery, all while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards.

Situated within the boundaries of Favaios, this winery is renowned for its exquisite muscatel wines. During our visit, we’ll uncover the story of how this particular grape variety was introduced to the Douro region, a tradition that dates back to the 19th century.

Your journey will include a tour of the barrel room and a look through the winery museum, where interactive displays, vintage photographs, and even robots reveal the intricate processes involved in crafting these exceptional wines.

Following the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to savor two glasses of Port wine and one glass of Muscatel, paired with a delightful small snack featuring cheese, jam, nuts, and bread.

Our excursion will conclude with a drop-off back at your hotel, approximately three hours after the commencement of the activity.
