Quinta da Avessada Winery Tour

After picking you up at your hotel at your chosen time, we'll head north to the Quinta da Avessada winery, enjoying views of the vineyards along the way. Located in the municipality of Favaios, the winery is known for its production of muscatel wines. We'll explore its facilities to discover how this grape variety was introduced to the Douro region, cultivated here since the 19th century.

We'll visit the barrel room and the winery museum to learn about wine production through interactive screens, old photographs, and robots that illustrate the processes involved.

Then, we'll enter the tasting room for a tasting of two glasses of Port wine and one of Muscatel, accompanied by a small snack of cheese, jam, nuts, and bread. We'll conclude the excursion by returning you to your hotel three hours after the activity starts.
