Half-day tour

The excursion begins with hotel pick-up, followed by a visit to the oldest limestone quarry in Malta, where participants will learn about the local stonemasonry. The tour proceeds to the south of the island to the megalithic temples of Hagar Qim, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During the archaeological site tour, the history and significance of these religious monuments will be explored. Next, we travel to the coastal town of Wied iz-Zurrieq, where participants will board a boat to the Blue Grotto (boat trip not included). The return journey to the hotel will take place between 12:30 and 1:30 pm.

Full-day tour

The full-day option includes the same activities in the morning, visiting the Megalithic temples of Hagar Qim and the Blue Grotto. A delicious lunch in the village, consisting of a starter, main course, dessert, and wine, will follow. After lunch, the tour continues to the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk for free time at the local market.

The final stop is the Ghar Dalam prehistoric cave, essential for understanding the island's Neolithic past. The return journey to the hotel will occur between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
