Discover the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk and the famous Blue Grotto on this trip to Malta.

Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto Trip

Hotel pickup will occur before heading to the southeastern tip of Malta.

The first stop is the small fishing village of Marsaxlokk, where you can stroll along the waterfront and see the traditional Luzzu fishing vessels. These colorful boats have eyes on their bows, believed to protect fishermen.

You will have free time to visit the Marsaxlokk Market, traditionally held on Sundays, where fishermen sell their catch alongside stalls selling artisan products and souvenirs.

Next, we proceed to Qrendi to see its parish church and band clubs.

In the afternoon, we will visit 'Wied Iz-Zurrieq harbor', where you can take a boat to the Blue Grotto (boat fee not included, 8 EUR). These sea caves have been featured in films like 'Troy'.

The journey around the Blue Grotto concludes at Wied Iz-Zurrieq docks, followed by the return trip to your hotel.

Changes

If the Marsaxlokk Market is closed on the activity day, we will visit Rabat Market instead.
