Buggy Tour of Boa Vista Island

On this buggy tour of Boa Vista, we'll travel across dune landscapes and volcanic lands typical of this island of Cape Verde.

When booking, you'll have the choice of 3 different options. All 3 include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking guide, and rental of a double off-road buggy.

These are the following options:

Tour of Northern Boa Vista (2 Hours)

We'll start by picking you up and proceeding to the base where the buggies are located. After a safety briefing and gear assignment, our first stop will be at Ponta do Sol. Next, we'll visit the coastal area of Cape Santa María to see a historic shipwreck. The tour concludes at the dunes in the Viana Desert.

Tour of Southern Boa Vista (4 Hours)

This option allows for an extended exploration of the south of Boa Vista Island. We will visit Praia de Chaves, then head to Praia de Verandinha before reaching Santa Mónica Beach, which spans 18 kilometres. We will also see the sand dunes and ruins at Curral Velho, concluding at Fonte Vicente with its baobab tree.

Tour of Death Valley (2 Hours)

This tour involves driving towards Rabil, then crossing the Death Valley to visit a hidden oasis. The journey includes various twists and a scenic drive, finishing at Fonte Vicente to admire the baobab tree.

Additional Info

To drive the buggy, you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Children aged 3 to 17 can only travel as passengers.
