We'll pick you up at your hotel between 1:30 and 2 pm. From here, we'll drive to our first destination of the day, Shark Bay, where you can enjoy a 20-minute swim with lemon sharks. Afterwards, we will visit the nearby village of Pedra de Lume, the first settlement on the island of Sal, where we will see its ancient dwellings and learn about the importance of the salt industry.

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Pedra de Lume salt marshes, the only salt lagoon in the world located in the crater of a dormant volcano. You will experience the variety of colors of the landscape. Finally, we will visit the cable car that was once used for transporting salt extracted from Pedra de Lume.

We will return to your hotel in Santa Maria at 5 pm.
