Sal Island Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour on the island of Sal, we'll explore the main tourist attractions on this paradise in Cape Verde while releasing adrenaline. This activity is ideal for visitors in Santa Maria.

Options

When booking, you can choose between 3 different options. All include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking escort, and a double buggy hire.

2-hour day tour

This option starts with picking you up and heading to the offices to get your buggies. We will travel to thetop of Serra Negra for views of the island, then continue to Oasis and Ponta Preta Beach.

Schedule: available at 2 pm and 4:30 pm.

4-hour day tour

This tour begins with a trip to Murdeira, driving around the surrounding desert to Palmeria for 30 minutes of free time. Next, we will visit Regona, a natural swimming pool, and then Terra Boa to experience the Morgana effect. The tour concludes at Pedra de Lume to see the salt marshes and Shark Bay to spot lemon sharks.

4-hour night tour

This tour allows you to explore Sal Island at night. It begins as the sun sets and includes a stop at Oasis, with varying routes based on the season. From November to June, we visit Ocean Café Pub; from July to October, we go to Serra Negra Beach to see loggerhead sea turtles hatching.

Schedule: available at 8 pm.

Children Aged 5-18

Children aged 5-18 may participate as passengers only, accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same vehicle. A valid driver's license is required to drive the buggy, which accommodates up to two people.
