Sal Island Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour on the island of Sal, we'll explore the main tourist attractions on this paradise in Cape Verde while releasing adrenaline. It's an adventure activity for those in Santa Maria!

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between 3 different options. All include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking tour assistant, and a double buggy hire. Here are the details for each tour:

2-Hour Tour

After pickup, we'll go to the offices to get your buggies and start to explore the island of Sal. We'll first head to the top of Serra Negra for views of the island. Then we’ll drive to Oasis, followed by Ponta Preta Beach, one of the island’s premier locations.

Schedule: this option is available at 2 pm and 4:30 pm.

4-Hour Tour

This longer option is perfect for those wanting to spend more time in the buggy. We'll visit Murdeira in the western part of Sal, drive around the surrounding desert towards the port city of Palmeria, and enjoy 30 minutes of free time in this area featuring Portuguese-style architecture. We’ll also visit Regona, a natural swimming pool, continue to Terra Boa to experience the Morgana effect, and see the famous salt marshes at Pedra de Lume. Finally, we’ll visit Shark Bay to observe lemon sharks.

Schedule: this option is available at 9 am.

Children Aged 5-18

Children aged 5-18 can participate in this buggy tour only as passengers and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same vehicle.

To drive the buggy, you must present a valid driver's license. Each buggy can carry up to two people.
