Sal Island Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour on the island of Sal, we'll explore the main tourist attractions in Cape Verde while enjoying an adrenaline-filled experience.

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between 3 different options, all of which include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking tour assistant, and a double 1000cc buggy hire.

Here are the details for each tour:

2-Hour Day Tour

After pickup, we will go to the offices to collect your buggies and start exploring the island. Our first stop will be at the top of Serra Negra for spectacular views. Next, we'll drive to Oasis and then to Ponta Preta Beach, known for its beauty.

Schedule: available at 2 pm and 4:30 pm.

4-Hour Day Tour

This option allows for more time in the buggy. We will first go to Murdeira and then head towards the port city of Palmeria for 30 minutes of free time to admire the architecture. Next, we will visit Regona, a natural swimming pool, and travel to Terra Boa to experience the Morgana effect. We will conclude by visiting Pedra de Lume to see the salt marshes and Shark Bay to spot lemon sharks.

4-Hour Night Tour

This tour allows you to explore Sal Island on buggies at night. We will start after sunset, crossing Santa Maria to Oasis. Depending on the season, we'll visit Ocean Café Pub for local festivities from November to June, or Serra Negra Beach to see loggerhead sea turtles hatching from July to October.

Children Aged 5-18

Children aged 5-18 can participate as passengers only, accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same vehicle. A valid driver's license is required to drive the buggy, which can carry up to two people.
