On this private tour of the island of Sal, you'll explore a captivating destination in Cape Verde with an exclusive English-speaking guide, enjoying beautiful landscapes.
Sal Island Private Tour
You will be picked up at your hotel in Santa Maria at the specified time for the private tour. The first stop will be Kite Beach, known for its water sports competitions due to strong winds. After enjoying the beach, we will visit Porto Palmeira, a fishing village to appreciate its colorful houses.
The tour continues at the Pedra da Lume salt flat, where you can swim in a unique salt lake located inside a volcanic caldera. Next, we will head to the salt desert of Miragem, known for its optical effects, and then to Buracona, where you will have an hour to swim in the Blue Eye Cave, one of the seven wonders of Sal.
After swimming, we will visit Shark Bay to observe lemon sharks in their natural habitat. The tour will also include stops in Murdeira and Espargos, where you can have lunch independently. A final stop at the Botanical Garden of Viveiro can be made if desired.
The tour lasts approximately 7 hours before returning you to your hotel in Santa Maria.
